The Economics of Inequality

The first inaugural Econ day, The Economics of Inequality featured an impressive lineup of speakers from across campus touching on a wide range of subjects and disciplines. The events featured Professors Steven Durlauf, Allen Sanderson, and Elaine Allensworth. The theme of the conference was understanding the intersection between inequality as it’s understood through an economic lens and how it connects to a variety of other topics ranging from education policy to Airbnb.
