Rachel is a fourth-year from Middleton, Massachusetts (proud home of Richardson's Ice Cream). She is majoring in Economics and Public Policy, and is interested in the intersections between finance, technology, and sustainability. Outside of CEF, she is involved in Pareto Solutions, AKPsi business fraternity, AOII sorority, and Camp Kesem. In her free time, Rachel can be found playing pickup soccer, eating sushi downtown, watching House of the Dragon, and doing the New York Times crossword.

Kinar Prasad ‘24

Kinar is a fourth-year from Chicago, IL majoring in Economics and Philosophy with a focus on international fiscal and monetary policy. He’s previously worked for the UChicago Law School, the U.S. Congress and Sidley Austin as a research analyst. After graduation, the will be working in healthcare M&A for investment bank Lincoln International. Outside of school, he is a board member of Pi Kappa Alpha, an avid skier, golfer and hockey player.

Yoohan is a fourth-year majoring in Public Policy and Environmental and Urban Studies. She is particularly interested in researching environmental policies in metropolitan areas and improving climate action advocacy. Around campus, she is on the board for the Environmental Research Group and the Korean Students Organization, and on the editorial staff for Expositions Magazine. In her free time, she can be found golfing or trying new restaurants around Chicago.

Nina is a fourth-year majoring in Economics specialized in Data Science and minoring in Human Rights. Nina is deeply interested in corporate finance and startup culture, particularly in how they intersect with big data. Around campus, Nina is involved with the University of Chicago Socially Responsible Investing Group and is a section editor for The Gate (the IOP’s political newspaper). She is double-majoring in Biology and Business Economics and is interested in the intersection of business and healthcare. Around campus, Ariana does research in a Cancer Risk Clinic at the hospital, is on the board of Maroon Tutor Match, and worked on Campus Catalyst. In her free time, Ariana loves to go on walks, attempt to expand her music taste, and try new restaurants downtown.

Zayne is a fourth-year interested in economics research aimed at answering causal questions about how people and corporations act. Despite a strong love for math, he also has a love for philosophy and sociology, and is always ready for a deep conversation about analytic philosophy. In his free time he loves playing board and card games (with a particular love for Oath, Dominion, and DnD), and perfecting his famous chicken fried rice recipe.

Outside of CEF, he is involved in Maroon Capital, Chicago Debate, and the Armenian Students Association. Nick plays midfield and attack on the club lacrosse team, as well. He loves exploring new restaurants in Chicago and can usually be found playing backgammon against his friends.
